Tyrinna [Tyrinna]

Description

Tyrinna is a lesser-known genus of nudibranchs with compact bodies and relatively simple coloration, often in shades of brown or orange. These nudibranchs are distinguished by their smooth or only slightly textured skin and a lack of prominent external structures such as cerata or papillae. Tyrinna species are benthic, usually found in sandy or muddy substrates where they feed on detritus and microorganisms.
