Description

Eridacnis is a genus of small, deep-water sharks known for their elongated, slender bodies and comb-like teeth. These sharks are found in tropical and subtropical oceans worldwide, often near the seabed. Members of this genus are typically small, with the largest species reaching no more than 60 cm in length. They are characterized by their cylindrical bodies, short snouts, and the presence of two dorsal fins with no spines.
