Description
The Combtooth Dogfish, also known as the Black Dogfish, is a small, deepwater shark typically found in the North Atlantic Ocean. It has a slender body, a short, blunt snout and green eyes. The skin is black and rough like sandpaper. It is primarily a bottom-dwelling species, found at depths of 180 to 1,570 meters. It primarily feeds on small fish and invertebrates.
