Description
The Longnose Velvet Dogfish is a species of dogfish shark in the family Etmopteridae. It is found in the western Pacific off Japan and possibly Taiwan. It's a deepwater species, typically found at depths of 150 to 1,000 meters. It has a long, slender body and a pointed snout, and is known to feed on fish and squid.
