Ornate Angelshark [Squatina tergocellatoides]
Description
The Ornate Angelshark is a species of angelshark, family Squatinidae, found in the western Pacific Ocean off Taiwan. It is a bottom-dwelling species that can be found down to depths of 100 m. Like other members of its family, it has a flattened body and broad pectoral fins, and is well camouflaged to blend in with sandy or muddy bottoms.
