Description
Actiniidae, or beadlet anemones, are a family of sea anemones that are characterized by their stout, columnar bodies and often vivid colors. Members of this family are commonly found in shallow waters attached to rocks or other substrates. They possess a strong adhesive foot used for attachment and have numerous short, but powerful, tentacles surrounding their central mouth, used for capturing prey.
