Description
Isozoanthus sulcatus, commonly known as the yellow colonial anemone, is a species of marine zoanthid in the family Parazoanthidae. It forms colonies of small yellow polyps connected by a common mat of stolon tissue. It is found in the Atlantic Ocean, including the Gulf of Mexico, typically on rocks, shells, and other hard substrates. It is characterized by its encrusting growth form and bright yellow coloration.
