White Slipper Limpet [Crepidula onyx]

Description
The White Slipper Limpet is a marine gastropod found along the Pacific coast of North America, from the Baja California peninsula in Mexico to Central California. It is characterized by its white, smooth, and shiny shell that resembles a small shoe or slipper. This species is often found in clusters on rocks, shells, or other hard substrates in intertidal and subtidal zones. Like many gastropods, it is a sequential hermaphrodite, starting life as a male and later transitioning to female.
