Upland Bully [Gobiomorphus breviceps]
Description
The Upland Bully, or Gobiomorphus breviceps, is a goby species found in the rivers and lakes of New Zealand. This fish prefers fast-flowing, clear waters in higher altitude areas. It is a small species, growing to about 6 cm in length. The Upland Bully is recognized by its brown or grey coloration and distinctive, short head shape. It is a nocturnal species, feeding on small invertebrates.
