Description

The Spotted Stargazer is a small fish species that lives in sandy or muddy bottoms in shallow waters. It is characterized by a flattened body, a large mouth facing upwards, and a series of dark spots across its body. It burrows into the substrate, leaving only its eyes and mouth visible to detect and catch prey.
