Neoliparis atlanticus, commonly known as the Roughhead Grenadier, is a species of rattail, a type of deep-sea fish. It is found in the North Atlantic Ocean, from Iceland to the Davis Strait. It prefers a benthic lifestyle, dwelling on the seafloor at depths ranging from 400 to 1400 metres. This species is characterized by a large head with rough skin, a slender body, and a long, whip-like tail.
