Ocellated flounder [Pseudorhombus ocellatus]
Description
The Ocellated flounder is found in the Western Pacific, from the Gulf of Thailand to the South China Sea. It prefers shallow coastal waters with sandy or muddy bottoms. This species is known for its distinctive pattern, with dark spots that are surrounded by a light halo, resembling an 'eye'.
