Marbled Turret Snail [Tectus pyramis]

Description
The Marbled Turret Snail is a medium to large-sized marine gastropod mollusk. Its shell, which can reach 80 mm in size, is elongated conical with a pointed apex. It has a distinctive marbled pattern, hence its common name. It is native to the tropical Indo-Pacific region and inhabits coral reefs.
