Hooktooth Shark [Chaenogaleus macrostoma]
Description
The Hooktooth Shark is a large, robust species found in the Indo-West Pacific. It has a broad, short snout and large, hook-like teeth. This species is grey-brown in color and lighter below. It is a strong swimmer and preys on a variety of fish and invertebrates. Despite its large size, it poses little threat to humans.
