Weasel Sharks [Hemigaleidae]

Description

Hemigaleidae, or weasel sharks, are a family of small to medium-sized sharks found in the Indian and Pacific Oceans. They are characterized by their slender bodies, long snouts, and a unique color pattern that often includes shades of brown, grey, and a pattern of markings that can be used for camouflage. Weasel sharks are generally found in coastal waters, where they prey on fish and invertebrates. Despite their predatory nature, they are considered of little threat to humans.
