Description
Stichodactyla haddoni, or Haddon's Carpet Anemone, is a sea anemone found in the Indo-Pacific region, particularly around the waters of Australia. It prefers sandy or muddy substrates in lagoons or outer reef slopes. The anemone has a short, broad column up to 1 m in diameter, with a folded oral disc. The color varies, with the oral disc often being green or blue, and the tentacles being brown or green with a pink or purple tip. It is known to host several species of anemonefish.
