Greeneye Dragonfish [Borostomias panamensis]
Description
This species is found in the Eastern Pacific Ocean. It has a bioluminescent barbel that it uses to attract prey. The Greeneye Dragonfish is named for its large, green eyes, which are specially adapted to see in the dark, deep-sea environment where it lives.
