Green Surf Anemone [Anthopleura xanthogrammica]

Description
The Green Surf Anemone is a solitary species, often found in the intertidal zones and down to depths of 30 meters along the Pacific Coast. They are characterized by their bright green color, which is a result of symbiotic algae living within their tissues. They feed on detritus and small invertebrates, and can reproduce both sexually and asexually.
