Description
The Glaucous Cockle is a species of saltwater clam, a marine bivalve mollusk in the family Cardiidae. It is found in the northeastern Atlantic Ocean from Norway to Cape Blanc, including the Baltic Sea and the Mediterranean Sea. It lives in sandy or muddy bottoms in marine and brackish waters. Its shell is rounded and light brown or gray in color.
