Description
The Giant Limpet is a species of sea snail. It has a large, heavy, oval shell that can reach up to 10 cm in length. It is found in the Mediterranean and northeastern Atlantic Ocean, mainly on exposed rocky shores. Its diet consists primarily of algae, which it grazes from the substrate.
