Giant Clam [Tridacna gigas]

Description
The Giant Clam, also known as the Great Clam, is the largest living bivalve mollusk. They are found in the South Pacific and Indian Oceans. They prefer shallow coral reefs. The Giant Clam has a heavy shell which is rounded and symmetrical. They are known for their vibrant colors, which can be blue, green, yellow, brown, or a mix. They are filter feeders, and they also host zooxanthellae. Due to their size, they are not as mobile as other clams.
