Giant Bully [Gobiomorphus gobioides]
Description
The Giant Bully, or Gobiomorphus gobioides, is a species of goby native to the rivers and lakes of New Zealand. These fish are larger than other species in the Gobiomorphus genus, able to grow up to 25 cm in length. They are nocturnal feeders, preying on small crustaceans and insect larvae. The Giant Bully is characterized by its larger size and a more elongated body shape compared to other Gobiomorphus species.
