Emperor Penguin [Aptenodytes forsteri]

Description

The largest species of penguin characterized by its tall stature and distinctive yellow-orange plumage around its neck. They inhabit the Antarctic ice and the surrounding waters, where they feed primarily on fish, krill, and squid. Known for their unique breeding cycle, with males incubating the eggs through the harsh Antarctic winter while females head to sea to feed.
