Common Limpet [Patella vulgata]
Description
The common limpet is a species of sea snail. They have a conical shell, which is broadly oval and may grow up to 6cm in length. This species is found on rocky shores in the northeastern Atlantic Ocean. Their diet consists of algae which they scrape from the rocks with their radula.
