The Blueband Goby, also known as the Blueband Sleeper Goby, is a sand sifting species native to the Indo-Pacific region. It has a white body with bright blue stripes running vertically down its body. This species typically dwells in sandy or rubble bottom areas and feeds on small invertebrates living in the sand.
