Description
Epizoanthus beanii, commonly known as the Bean Animal, is a species of marine zoanthid in the family Epizoanthidae. It is native to the northeastern Atlantic Ocean, where it inhabits hard substrates in deep water. This species is characterized by its small polyp size and the presence of symbiotic, photosynthetic dinoflagellates of the genus Symbiodinium.
