Asian Snipe Eel [Nemichthys curvirostris]
Description
The Asian Snipe Eel, also known as the Curved Beak Snipe Eel, is found in the western Pacific and Indian Oceans. It has a long, slender body, with a distinctive curved beak formed by its elongated jaws. This species lives at depths of between 300 to 600 meters, and feeds on small crustaceans and cephalopods.
