Description
The Pacific slender flounder is a species of righteye flounders belonging to the family Pleuronectidae. It can be found in the Northwest Pacific from the Sea of Okhotsk and Bering Sea southward to Korea and Japan. The Pacific slender flounder is a demersal species that usually inhabits sandy or muddy bottoms of coastal waters. This species is characterized by its small, elongated body and a brownish to olive green color on the eyed side with small spots.
