Eastern School Whiting [Sillago flindersi]
Description
The Eastern School Whiting, or Sillago flindersi, is found along the eastern coast of Australia. It inhabits sandy or muddy bottoms in coastal waters and estuaries. It is distinguished by its small size, rarely exceeding 20 cm in length, and has a silvery body with faint brownish spots.
