Description
The West African tube worm, or Pseudovermilia furcata, is a species found in the Eastern Atlantic Ocean, specifically along the West African coast. Similar to its relatives, it lives within a calcareous tube and extends its tentacles to feed. It tends to prefer shallow, rocky environments. The species is notable for its forked gills, which are unique among the Pseudovermilia genus.
