Description

Pseudovermilia includes tubeworms that are similar in appearance and behavior to those of the genus Vermilia but are distinguished by subtle morphological differences. These worms construct calcareous tubes on rocky substrates and coral reefs, filter feeding with their distinctively colored tentacle crowns.
