Thick-billed Murres [Uria]
Description
The Thick-billed Murre, belonging to the Uria genus, is a large, black and white seabird with a distinctive thick bill. It is found in the Arctic and North Atlantic oceans, breeding on steep, rocky cliffs. These birds are accomplished divers, able to reach depths of over 100 meters to forage for fish and invertebrates.
