Globular Sundials [Architectonica]

Description

Globular Sundials, often simply referred to as part of the Architectonica genus, include species with more globular shells among the sundials. These marine gastropods have shells that appear more rounded and bulbous, with less pronounced spiring than typical sundials. Globular sundials are found in tropical to subtropical seas, living in sandy or coral reef habitats. Their diet includes small invertebrates and detritus.
