Noble Sundial [Architectonica nobilis]

Description
Architectonica nobilis, commonly known as the noble sundial, is a species of large sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Architectonicidae. Its shell can reach a size of 50–70 mm. The sculpture of the shell shows numerous spiral lirae and growth lines. The color pattern is quite variable, usually with broad brown and white axial bands. This species can be found in the Indian Ocean and in the Pacific Ocean along Madagascar, Tanzania, the Mascarene Basin, and Western Australia.
