Description
The Dovekie, also known as the Little Auk, is the sole species in the Alle genus. This small, black and white seabird is adapted to life in the Arctic's extreme conditions. It feeds on zooplankton and small fish, diving from the surface to catch its prey. Dovekies breed in large colonies on rocky cliffs.
