Stonefishes [Synanceiidae]

Description

Synanceiidae, known as stonefishes, are considered some of the most venomous fish in the world. Their excellent camouflage allows them to blend into rocky or coral environments, making them nearly invisible to both prey and predators. They possess potent venomous spines on their backs, which can cause severe injuries or fatalities to unwary humans. Despite their danger, they are a subject of fascination and caution in marine communities.
