Spiny Devilfish [Choridactylus]

Description

Choridactylus is a genus of fish known for their venomous spines and ability to blend into their surroundings. They inhabit the Indo-Pacific region, living among rocky and coral reefs where their mottled skin helps them to remain undetected by both prey and predators. They are less known than their relatives but share many of the dangerous characteristics associated with the family Synanceiidae.
