Description

The Bullidae family, known as Bubble Shells, comprises small to medium-sized marine gastropods. These creatures have a distinctive bubble-shaped shell, often semi-transparent and fragile. Bubble shells are primarily found in warm seas and are known for their unique body structure that allows the shell to be almost entirely enveloped by the mantle when the animal is active. Members of this family feed on algae and are characterized by their smooth, globular shells that lack an operculum.
