Wire Coral Shrimp [Agononida propinqua]

Description
Agononida propinqua, commonly referred to as the Wire Coral Shrimp, is a species of squat lobster in the family Galatheidae. It is found in the Indo-Pacific region, from the Red Sea and East Africa to Hawaii, and the Easter Island. It mainly inhabits the outer edges of reef slopes, with a depth range of 10 - 400 m. The species is characterized by its long, thin claws and a body covered with short spines.
