Whitespotted Guitarfish [Rhynchobatus australiae]

Description

The Whitespotted Guitarfish is distinguished by its elongated, shark-like body and large, wing-like pectoral fins. Their dorsal surface is gray with small white spots, while their ventral surface is white. They are a demersal species, inhabiting sandy or muddy bottoms of coastal waters and feeding on a diet of small fish and invertebrates.
