Description
The Whitefin Sharksucker, Echeneis neucratoides, is a species of remora in the family Echeneidae. It is a marine, subtropical fish that is known to attach itself to sharks and other large marine animals. It is found in the western Atlantic Ocean from the Bahamas and Florida to Brazil. The Whitefin Sharksucker has a slender, elongated body with a white-tipped first dorsal fin and a large sucking disc on the head.
