White Tanaid [Gigantapseudes whitei]

Description
Named after the marine biologist Adam White, this species is characterized by its white coloration. It is a benthic species usually found in the Pacific Ocean. The White Tanaid is smaller than the Giant Tanaid, reaching about 5 cm in length. It is known for its preference for sandy substrates where it burrows to find food.
