Western Shortnose Skate [Pavoraja umbrosa]
Description
The western shortnose skate is endemic to Western Australia, where it is found on the upper continental slope at depths of 270–460 m. It is characterized by a diamond-shaped pectoral fin disc, slightly longer than wide, and a short tail with two small dorsal fins and a caudal fin.
