West Indian Chank [Turbinella angulata]

Description
The West Indian Chank is a large sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Turbinellidae. This species is distributed in the Caribbean Sea, the Gulf of Mexico and along the Lesser Antilles. The shell of this species is spindle-shaped, solid and heavy. It has a characteristic angulated shouldered whorls.
