Threaded Nudibranch [Hermissenda opalescens]

Description
The Threaded Nudibranch, or Hermissenda opalescens, is a species of brightly colored sea slug found in the waters of the Pacific Ocean. This species is smaller than its cousin, the Opalescent Nudibranch, and is distinguished by its thinner, more elongated body and cerata. The Threaded Nudibranch is typically found in shallow, intertidal waters, but can also be found at depths of up to 30 meters. Its diet primarily consists of hydroids, although it is also known to eat small crustaceans and other marine invertebrates.
