Thimble Jellyfish [Linuche unguiculata]

Description
Linuche unguiculata, commonly known as the thimble jellyfish, is a small jellyfish with a bell that is usually less than 1 inch (2.5 cm) in diameter. They are known for their unique life cycle, in which they undergo a symbiotic relationship with zooxanthellae, a type of algae. This species is primarily found in tropical and subtropical waters, often in large swarms. Its sting can cause seabather's eruption, a skin reaction characterized by a rash and severe itching.
