Linuche [Linuche]
Description
Linuche is a unique genus among the crowned jellies, notable for its small size and unorthodox lifecycle, which includes a sessile polyp stage and a free-swimming medusa stage. These jellies are distinguished by their transparent, bell-shaped bodies and short, delicate tentacles. Linuche species are found in warmer oceanic waters and are known for their occasional blooms, which can cause skin irritation to swimmers, known as seabather's eruption.
