Striped Sea Spider [Ammothea striata]

Description
The Striped Sea Spider inhabits the Southern Ocean, found at depths of up to 1500 meters. It is named for the distinct striping pattern on its body. The females of the species are typically larger than the males. The body of the Striped Sea Spider is ovate and the legs are short in comparison to other species in the genus.
