Sea Spiders [Ammotheidae]

Description

Ammotheidae, commonly known as sea spiders, are a family within the order Pantopoda. Members of this family are characterized by their slender bodies and long, spindly legs, which can be much longer than their body length. They are predominantly found in marine environments, from shallow waters to deep-sea habitats. These creatures are carnivorous, feeding on soft-bodied invertebrates by sucking out their contents through a proboscis.
