Spinous squat lobster [Munida spinosa]

Description
The Spinous squat lobster is found in the northeast Atlantic and the Mediterranean Sea. It inhabits muddy or sandy substrates at depths from 20 to 400 meters. It is characterized by its long, slender pincers and a carapace covered with spines. Its diet mainly consists of detritus and small invertebrates.
